1956: Harry Webb and friends Betty Clarke, Freda Johnson, John Vince and Beryl Molineux formed a group called ‘The Quintones’.

“Vida Nova”, ‘The Wine Of The Year’, Sir Cliff Richard has chalked up the wine release of the year, with the success of debut vintage of his Portuguese wine.

2003: Sir Cliff’s two compilation CDs “My Songs By Cliff Richard” CD 5909652 EMI (Released 18-8-2003) & “Cliff Richard Sings The Standards” CD 5910592 EMI (Released 18-8-2003) are released.
On 20 August Cliff was in Albufeira, Portugal, for a special ceremony where a street near his first home in the town was re-named Rua Sir Cliff Richard.
“Imagine” backing vocals by Cliff Richard for Cilla Black will be releasing on Cilla Black’s 'Beginnings’ album in September.
Sir Cliff and Helmut Lotti two duets songs, “Mary's Boy Child” will appear on Cliff's new album “Cliff At Christmas”, while “Danny Boy” will feature on Helmut's forthcoming album.

2004: Sir Cliff Richard gave a free open-air concert on the beach in Albufeira, Portugal, he sings his hits “On The Beach”, “Move It”, “Living Doll”, “The Young Ones”, “Summer Holiday”, “Congratulations” and some new songs from his new studio album releasing in November, “Something’s Goin’ On”, “I Cannot Give You My Love” and “Sometimes Love”.
The video /DVD of ‘Summer Nights’ concerts series will be releasing in October titled “Castles In The Air”.

2005: On August 22, EMI released four digitally re-mastered Cliff Richard’s films soundtrack albums with bonus tracks, “The Young Ones”, “Wonderful Life”, “Finders Keepers” and “Take Me High”.

2007: On August 31, Cliff attended the Thanksgiving Service for Diana, Princess of Wales, at the Guards' Chapel.

2008: To mark Cliff Richard's 50th anniversary this year, EMI will release an 8-CD box set entitled 'And They Said It Wouldn't Last (My 50 Years In Music)' on 15 September.
