1979: Cliff takes part in a concert in aid of the International Year of the Child in Camberley, Surrey.
A torchlight procession from London’s Trafalgar Square, along the Mall to the Buckingham Palace, Cliff leads the crowd of 30,000 and  as he sings carols, accompanying himself on guitar on a specially constructed stage facing the Buckingham Palace. The Queen and Prince Charles join in the carols from the balcony and later Cliff is received in Buckingham Palace after the celebrations to mark the end of the International Year of the Child.

Early next year EMI will releases the next four digitally re-mastered classic Cliff albums with bonus tracks “Dressed For The Occasion” (bonus tracks: “The Golden Days Are Over”, “You, Me And Jesus”, “Discovering”, “Daddy’s Home” and “Little Town”),  “The Rock Connection”(bonus tracks: “Move It”, “Teddy Bear”, “It’ll Be Me”, “A Little Bitty Pretty One”, “Tutti Frutti” & “I’ll Mend Your Broken Heart”),  “Always Guaranteed” (bonus tracks: “Under The Gun”,  “Brave In World”,  “Wild Geese”, “Love Ya”, “One Time Lover Man”, “Another Christmas Day”, “Yesterday, Today, Forever” and “Reunion Of The Heart”) and “Stronger” (bonus tracks: “Wide Open Space”, “I Just Don’t Have The Heart”, “Hey Mister”, “Lindsay Jane” and “Marmaduke”).

2004: December 3rd, Cliff Richard appeared on ‘Today with Des and Mel’ TV programme, London.
Sir Cliff  Richard’s latest single (127th) “I Cannot Give You My Love” / “She’s All Mine “ / “Somethin’ Is Goin On” (video)” released on December 13th and enters the chart at No. 13 in the UK chart.
On December 14th, Cliff Richard took part in this year's Royal Variety Performance at the Coliseum, he sings “I Cannot Give You My Love”.
On Friday 17th December, Cliff took part in ITV's ‘This Morning Show’.
Sir Cliff Richard interviewed for Don McLean's Radio 2 shows on Sunday 19th December.
Sir Cliff Richard performs a special concert “An Evening With Sir Cliff Richard”, he performs some of his greatest hits and some from his latest album “Something’s Goin’ On” at London’s Palace Theatre.
On 28th December Sir Cliff Richard contributes to BBC1's program ‘King Of Rock ‘N’ Roll’.

2005: On December 9th, Cliff Richard UK’s most popular and enduring music stars, performs in a special ‘Friday Night Is Music Night’ concert with the BBC Concert Orchestra.

Sir Cliff’s latest 3 CDs compilation “The Platinum Collection” enters the UK chart at No. 51 and the album has been certified Gold.

2006: BBC Radio 2's three parts documentary about Cliff Richard - titled ‘Cliff - Take Another Look’ will be broadcast on 12th, 19th and 26th December.
“Live – Here And Now” DVD enters the Music video chart at No.3
Cliff Richard’s latest album “Two’s Company – The Duets” certified Gold.
Cliff’s new single is a double ‘A’ single, "21st Century Christmas" / “Move It”, a new Christmas song, released on 11th December. There will be three formats. a CD single, a digital download, and a limited 7" vinyl single.
"21st Century Christmas" / “Move It” is the highest new entry in the U.K. Singles chart at No.2

2007: Cliff Richard is scheduled to take part in the following television programmes; transmission dates are shown where known:  The Paul O'Grady Show (5 December), BBC Breakfast, The ONE Show (7 December), Strictly Come Dancing (9 December) , This Morning (10 December) and Loose Women (12 December) and The Alan Titchmarsh Show (17 December).    There will also be a number of radio interviews - including with BBC Radio 2's Steve Wright and Aled Jones.

2008: “Time Machine Tour” DVD released on 1st December.
On Sunday 7th December, The BBC's Songs of Praise Special to mark Cliff's 50th anniversary was screened.
