1958: Cliff Richard and The Drifters make a demo record of “Lawdy Miss Clawdy” / “Breathless”, recorded at a small studio above the HMV record shop in Oxford Street.
Cliff and the Drifters made an appearance at the Gaumont Theatre, Shepherds Bush as special guests on a talent show. George
Ganjou was in the audience, who later bring them to record producer Mr. Norrie Paramor.

1959: Cliff No. 1 (SEG 7903 Mono) / (ESG 7754 Stereo) released.

1963: Cliff and the Shadows began 16 weeks summer session ‘Holiday Carnival’ at Blackpool’s ABC Theatre.
Cliff Richard sings “A Stranger In Town”, Moonlight Bay”, “Some Of These Days” and “Carnival”.
“Lucky Lips” is in Top Ten in British charts.
“Luck Lips” / “The Next Time” released in USA.
‘Summer Holiday’ is the sell-out hit British musical of all time, it has already smashed all existing records for a British musical ever made.
It has even surpassed in popularity of ‘The Young Ones’, which previously held the all-time record for a British musical.

2002: Over a million people gathered in London to listen to some of the world's greatest Rock and Pop legends perform at the Buckingham Palace in honour of the Queen Elizabeth II’s 50 years on the throne, Sir Cliff Richard joined other artists at “Party At The Palace” and performed “Living Doll” and “Move It” featuring S Club 7 and Brian May.

2003: Sir Cliff has recorded the title track for a Christmas cartoon video called “It's A Boy”, due for release 25th October this year.
Cliff will also feature the track on his upcoming Christmas single.

2005: “Something's Goin' On” album was released by Edel Records in some European territories (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) under the new title of “For Life”; It includes all 17 tracks recorded by Cliff in the US.
